Top Tips for a Happy Life #34

Hello everyone, I hope you're well! As well as being the week when Vogue heralded the death of love  re: Brangelina, it was also the death (slight dramatisation) of summer! With the Autumn Equinox now come and gone Summer has been bid adieu, despite the perfectly sunny weather today. I for one can't cope with summer and so I'm more than glad it's passed, and so this week brings tidings from F. Scott Fitzgerald to help us bring in the new season with cheer.

The quote, 'life starts over again when it gets crisp in the fall' may be a bit ironic as it is the season where everything in nature either starts to die or struggles to keep going (so much death in this post today-- what's going on? I promise I'm ok), and so it could seem a bit backward to say life is beginning anew. That being said, I think we can all agree that autumn is the season that brings the most visceral change and for me-- the most joy. By November it's raining everyday and when January swings around we've all lost the will to live-- but in those brief September-October weeks everything just feels more crisp and jolly than any other time of year. My favourite season by far, with or without a Pumpkin Spice Latte in tow.

Until next time, I'll catch up with you all again soon! Poldark is back on again tonight so make sure you join in with Poldark Bingo on Twitter... I can sense a full house is nigh...

Until next time,
