BATH / DAY TWO & THREE - PART TWO - THE ROMAN BATHS, SUB 13, WILD CAFE

The 'big thing' about Bath that everyone says you can't miss are the Roman Baths.

We opted out of the audio guides, so there's nothing I could tell you about them that I wouldn't be snatching off google... But needless to say, they were very grand and in surprisingly good condition.

Although some bits were in more pieces than others.

^ The remains of a Minerva bust, plus Sam.

^ A pool to throw offerings into.

The main bath was sadly under refurbishment during our visit.

But it was still sunny, so we took a few pictures anyway.

^ Bath waters for sale in the Gift Shop

After a long day of walking, we weren't feeling brave so stopped off at Wagamama for dinner, and then headed to Sub 31 for cocktails.

They were absolutely amazing, and definitely worth a visit! After that, we started the walk home through town.

The next day, we were up bright and early for breakfast at Wild Cafe.

It was scrambled eggs and chorizo for me, pancakes for Sam.

Then it was to the Thermae Spa for a few hours and time to say goodbye to Bath!

Until next time,
Steph
